About Us

Back in the day, the old-days of the New Testament, it was honorable to be a disciple. It was so honorable, in fact, that a disciple would leave everything: house, friends, and family to learn to be exactly like the rabbi. During these times a blessing developed: “May you be covered in the dust of your rabbi.” Right out of college, two girls decided to pursue the call to teaching in Africa. They invite you to join their words and thoughts as they shake the dust of their chacos off on their blog, hoping to reveal to you all that God is revealing to them.

Our Week in Pictures:

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us in Ghana!

What?! Jollof Rice with Turkey? HECK YES!
Helene was wonderful enough to take some pictures of our classes.

We are very proud of our Thomas the Tank Engine train.

Lizziey's idea, Jamie's execution

Read to Grow, Grow to Read
The library: always a work in progress.

  1. I love the train. How is it done? Paper or paint. Of course Lizziey would want to decorate with a tree. What's written on the leaves. Thank you Sister Helene for the classroom pictures. So good to see the "computer lab". The library is looking good. Love the colorful turkeys. It looked like a good feast.Keep up the good work. Bev

  3. Thank you for your comments! The leaves are given to the kids after they have finished a book (b4 gets stars, and b3 gets leaves). Then they write their name, title, author and why they liked the book! :) They love getting leaves/stars!
